3.How do we collect and use Your Personal Data?

3.1.Types of Data That We Collected

3.1.1. Personal data

We may ask you to provide us with certain personal information that can be used to contact or identify You. The personal identification information might include but is not limited;

• Payment information (only if you use paid HeyCharge products or services)
• Usage Data (only if you use paid HeyCharge products or services)

3.1.2. Usage Data

We may collect automatically your usage data when you are using or accessing HeyCharge Services including website, mobile application or other channels.

Those collected usage data might cover, but not limited to, information such as the type of mobile device You use, Device id. (ID of the app (iOS vendor ID or Android advertising ID [GAID]), App version (clientApplicationVersion), App operating system version (clientOsVersion), IP address, Date and time of the request, Time zone difference to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), Content of the request (specific page), Access status / HTTP status code, amount of data transferred in each case, Operating system and its interface, Language and version of the operating system, and other diagnostic data.

3.1.3. Information from Third-Party Social Media Services

We allow You to create an account and log in to use the Service through the following Third-party Social Media Services.

• Google

We may collect Personal data that is already associated with Your Third-Party Social Media Service’s account, such as Your first name, last name, email address, contact number, and address associated with that account. If You prefer to provide such information and Personal Data, during sign-up or otherwise, You are giving the HeyCharge permission to use, share, and store it in a manner consistent with this Privacy Policy.

3.1.4. Information Collected while Using the Application

3.1.4.1. Information regarding your location

HeyCharge may use your location information to provide features of its services, to improve and customize them. The information may be uploaded to the HeyCharge’s servers and/or a Service Provider’s server or it may be simply stored on Your device.

However, we currently do not collect users' location information.

3.1.4.2. Information collected regarding your charging processes through the app and payment

When You initialize a charging process with HeyCharge mobile application and complete the payment process, we collect information about such as

• First name and last name,
• Customer type (private, company),
• Address,
• Phone number,
• Date of birth,
• Customer number (EVCO-ID),
• Partner reference (e.g. ADAC customer number, Vehicle Identifier Number VIN),
• Billing account,
• Contract information,
• Payment information, such as credit card number, PayPal address or your IBAN number,
• Your charging card identification number (if you save it in the app),
• Voucher codes for charging processes, if you have received any,
• Charging history with location and consumption data,

We collect these data to be able to bill for your charging process.

4.How do we Use Your Personal Information?

HeyCharge may use Personal Data for the following purposes:

1. To provide and maintain our Service, including monitoring the usage of our Service.
2. To manage Your Account: managing Your registration as a user of HeyCharge services. The Personal Data that You provide can give You access to different functionalities of the Service that are available to You as a registered user.
3. For the performance of a contract: the development, compliance, and undertaking of the purchase contract for the products, items, or services You have purchased or of any other contract with Us through the Service.
4. To contact You: contacting You by email, telephone calls, SMS, or other equivalent forms of electronic communication, such as a mobile application’s push notifications regarding updates or informative communications related to the functionalities, products, or contracted services, including the security updates, when necessary or reasonable for their implementation.
5. To provide You: with news, special offers and general information about other goods, services and events which we offer that are similar to those that you have already purchased or enquired about unless You have opted not to receive such information.
6. To manage Your requests: attending and managing Your requests to HeyCharge.

HeyCharge also retains Usage Data for internal analysis purposes.
